Job Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Coordination and execution of development and certification tests
- Development of flight test plans for a CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
- Elaboration of flight test documentation (e.g. test orders, test cards, post flight test reports)
- Definition of flight test instrumentation
- Coordination/planning of aircraft modifications
- Development of procedures and manoeuvres for flight test
- Classification of test hazards and risk mitigation procedures
- Data reduction and real-time/post flight data analysis
- Elaboration of flight test results reports
- Definition of flight test instrumentation
- Participation during onsite and offsite test campaigns
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace engineering; alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the
aeronautical industry - Min. 3 years professional working experience
- Experience in flight testing required
- Experience in aircraft evaluation, verification and validation
- Familiar with Part21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
- Experience in flight testing of handling qualities/performance is an advantage
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software will be an advantage
- Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language
- Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working
- Good communication skills and good Team worker, having an analytical and process oriented mind-set
- Good knowledge of MS-Office software
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software is an advantage
- Flexible worker, prepared to support and act in other functions across the organisation
- Flight background is an advantage
