We are looking for a Supply Chain Quality Engineer who will be highly motivated to support our quality and procurement teams in order to ensure sufficient and timely qualification and auditing of our world-wide subcontractors according to EASA Part21 G.
Your tasks:
- Perform qualification and auditing at subcontractor’s facilities based upon EASA requirements
- Prepare and Organize external audits
- Document Audits and take care of findings and observations
- Review actions derived from visits, audits and daily operation
- Develop improvement methods and write detailed instructions for qualifications due to EASA Part 21G
- Support Quality Manager to provide sufficient evidence regarding suppliers and subcontractors structure
- Maintain technical library, ensuring all respective EASA requirements are updated
Our Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Aeronautical/Aerospace engineering or equivalent degree with several years of additional professional experience in quality management
- Min. five years experience performing quality inspections in aerospace production
- Experience in Performing supplier and subcontractor assessments in the aerospace industry
- Extensive world-wide travel required
- Ability to read and interpret Applicable Design Data
- very good knowledge of EASA Part 21G production process requirements
- preferably knowledge of EASA Part 145 mainenance process
- basic experiences with AS9100 or ISO 9001 certification
- familiar with aerospace materials, production processes and engineering principles
- experience with application of First-Article-Inspection (FAI), Acceptance Testing (ATR) and conformity inspection methods in production
- Very good knowledge of English language.
- Very good knowledge of all MS-Office software.
- Good communication and team working skills and an analytical and process oriented mindset.
