The Next Gen Seastar successfully passed the Ground Vibration Test (GVT)

Our Next Gen Seastar successfully passed the very important Ground Vibration Test (GVT) some days ago.

But what is equally as exciting to all of us at Dornier Seawings, however, is the timing of the test. The test took place around the same time as the first tests for the flying boat “Dornier Wal” almost 100 years ago by the predecessor of the DLR (German Aerospace Center).

For us, this is something very special. After all, the Dornier Wal is the ancestor of the Seastar and known for its reliability and versatility. We shall take this as a sign of victory towards certification.

Feel free to check out the official article on the German Aerospace Center website.
